Diminutive, speaks quietly, low-energy demeanor, shy, not talkative, avoids eye-contact

Do you have any other family or friends?
Things you learn from older siblings: humility, that you are not as important/smart/etc. as they are (and thus lack self-esteem), that you have little power over people more powerful than you, that you have to push harder to be recognized (successful=hard worker or not=fatalistic), that you can be protected and thus more secure/more independent,
Things you learn from younger siblings: how to be gentle/how to use them as an outlet for your frustration, tips on how to parent, how to deal with a "baby of the family" and the jealousy it triggers, how to protect someone weaker

Ninikumo (dad): Mercenary/adventurer, spent lots of time away from home working/"leveling". Loves books (naturally: non-fiction history or do-it-yourself, mostly),

Single, no children

Lawful good
What is your character's moral code?
Do what's right for the greater good, even if it means making harsh sacrifices, and respect the boundaries of others
What is your character interested in? Things they do in their spare time?
Does your character have goals?
To learn how to heal people better and more than just physically; to read as much as she can before she dies; to become a very good cook; to settle down and eventually have children
Is your character religious?
Not really; she's too intellectual, though sometimes she wishes she was
Does your character have any personality quirks (i.e. anti-social, arrogant, optimistic, paranoid)?
Socially anxious and avoidant, depressive, hypersensitive and prone to crying and self-pity, pessimistic
Why does your character adventure?
Because she has to
How does your character view his/her role as an adventurer?
She wishes it wasn't as prevalent as it is in her society; feels like it's expected of her even though she doesn't really want to do it; wishes she could just study for a living, but you gotta have gil to have a house, and you gotta adventure to earn it or collect materials
Does your character have any distinguishing marks (birth-marks, scars, deformities)?
Nothing visible while clothed; a small birthmark on her hip was one way her parents told her apart from her twin sister
How does your character get along with others?
She's very accommodating and passive--anything to keep people off her back. She genuinely wants people to like her but isn't sure how to go about it except to just be compliant and hope everything goes well. If she finds someone she's comfortable around, she will stick to them like glue. If she's feeling particularly vulnerable, she'll stick to anyone who'll give her the time of day. She feels so nervous by herself that it's the best coping mechanism she's got
When confronted with conflict, she'll tend to shrink away and hide until absolutely necessary; then she'll go in with full force, eyes shut, flailing away and hope she actually hits something in the process. If anyone is nearby, she will beg them for help
Is there anything that your character hates?
Mean people. Boy oh boy, mean people. And bigots: anybody who thinks magic and books are dumb
Is there anything that your character fears?
The usual for a socially anxious person: public humiliation. Also, being yelled at

- Was away most of the time, and when he was home, he was often busy studying. It's not that he didn't want to spend time with his daughters; he loved them very much. He was just very anxious to get better and got restless if he didn't see much self-improvement at the end of the day.
- Morianna wanted more attention from him when she was younger but came to understand his drive for accomplishment. Their only shared interests didn't involve socializing, so...
- Kikono adored him and loved hearing stories of the quests he went on during the day. He'd happily tell her while Morianna would grow bored and retreat to her books.
- Sheltered Morianna from as much of the world as she could: bullies, difficult tasks, just most hardships. Morianna is sensitive and probably needed SOME sheltering to keep from having a nervous breakdown, but her mother overdid it with the best intentions, and now Mori's tackling the world like a fish out of water.
- Died shortly after Morianna left home; left Morianna feeling even more anxious in the world knowing she can never go back to that sheltered life she had growing up

- Books: fiction: fantasy or fairy tales, mystery, romance novels, very "safe" stories
- Magic: healing magic: wanted to help her father at the end of a tiring day so he wouldn't have to heal himself, wanted to heal herself of her depression but, of course, can't
- Intends to take up the culinary arts in the future: considers it a bit of an art form AND can be done and enjoyed at home and away from people. Wants to be better at magic before she even begins studying it
